UF Health St. Johns is seeking PRN Critical Care Physicians to join our growing critical care and pulmonology team in Northeast Florida. This opportunity offers the flexibility to maintain your existing practice or professional commitments while providing clinical coverage within the UF Health system. Physicians will have the opportunity to provide coverage across hospital-based critical care settings and, depending on training and departmental needs, outpatient pulmonology.
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide clinical coverage in one or more of the following settings based on departmental needs, physician qualifications, and availability:
- UF Health Flagler Hospital – Intensive Care Unit -12-hour clinical shifts
- UF Health Durbin Park Hospital – Intensive Care Unit - 10-hour clinical shifts
- UF Health St. Augustine – Pulmonology Outpatient Clinic - 8-hour clinical shifts
Shift Requirements
This position requires a minimum of one clinical shift per month, with scheduling coordinated based on departmental staffing needs and physician availability.

Located in northeast St. Johns County, UF Health Durbin Park will include a full -service 99-bed hospital with a focus on acute, intensive, emergency care, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, general surgery, cardiovascular medicine, and women’s services as well as a multidisciplinary medical office building. Future potential site development include the ability to expand hospital beds as well as an ambulatory surgical center, outpatient imagining and additional medial office building.
