| Job Description: |
The University of Florida Department of Neurology is seeking a Financial Analyst II to support the financial operations of its Clinical Research Program. This position provides comprehensive fiscal and financial management for a diverse portfolio of clinical research studies, with a primary focus on industry-sponsored clinical trials.
The Financial Analyst II will be responsible for clinical trial financial management throughout the study lifecycle, including budget development and negotiation support, financial feasibility review, post-award financial oversight, sponsor invoicing, payment tracking, account reconciliation, forecasting, financial reporting, and study closeout. The position will also assist with clinical trial budget amendments and evaluate study-related costs to ensure appropriate recovery of institutional and departmental expenses.
Additional responsibilities include
- Monitoring study revenue and expenditures
- Preparing and processing financial transactions and corrections
- Reviewing accounts for accuracy and compliance
- Maintaining financial information within clinical research and university systems
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies
The Financial Analyst II will work closely with clinical research coordinators, principal investigators, departmental leadership, sponsors, and central university offices to support timely and accurate financial administration of clinical research activities.

$74,000 -$77,000 annually
