Job Description:

The Department of Mathematics in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Florida invites applications for tenure-track Assistant Professor position, beginning August 16, 2027. This is a nine-month, full-time (1.0 FTE), position.

The search is open to all areas of mathematics, with candidates in partial differential equations (PDE) and algebra especially encouraged to apply. Candidates should demonstrate a strong and active research program, a compelling vision for future scholarship, the ability to mentor graduate and undergraduate researchers, and excellence in teaching.

The successful candidate will join a vibrant department of approximately 60 faculty and 85 graduate students conducting research across a broad spectrum of pure and applied mathematics. For more information, visit Department of Mathematics .
