The University of Florida is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to support strategic enrollment marketing and communication initiatives that engage prospective students throughout their recruitment journey. In this role, you will execute multi-channel communication campaigns through CRM platforms, develop audience segmentation strategies, manage email marketing automation, and collaborate with Enrollment Management partners to increase awareness, engagement, and enrollment at the University of Florida.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Enrollment Communications & Email Marketing
- Collaborate with the Enrollment Marketing and Communication team to execute the annual enrollment communication plan through CRM platforms in alignment with divisional priorities and strategic objectives.
- Manage email communication campaigns from planning through deployment, including audience segmentation, personalization, testing, scheduling, automation, quality assurance, and optimization.
- Develop targeted and personalized communication experiences based on prospective student characteristics, behaviors, interests, and stages of the recruitment and enrollment journey.
- Create and maintain communication templates, campaign assets, and related resources within CRM platforms while ensuring alignment with University of Florida brand, accessibility, and communication standards.
- Apply email marketing and digital communication best practices to strengthen engagement and support divisional recruitment and enrollment objectives.
CRM & Marketing Automation
- Develop and maintain an in-depth working knowledge of enrollment and prospective student data across undergraduate, graduate, certificate, and professional student populations.
- Create, manage, and maintain target audience reports, communication lists, filters, and segmentation criteria within CRM platforms to support targeted and broadcast communications.
- Utilize enrollment and prospect data to develop accurate audience selections and support personalized communication strategies.
- Analyze communication and audience data to identify opportunities to improve campaign targeting, personalization, engagement, and overall effectiveness.
- Maintain strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders throughout Enrollment Management and serve as a resource for communication-related CRM processes and best practices.
Other Duties
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Stay current on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in email marketing, CRM strategy, marketing automation, digital communications, and enrollment marketing.
- Analyze existing communication processes, workflows, and content to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, accuracy, automation, and consistency.

| Expected Salary: |
$55,000 annually

| Preferred: |
- Two years of professional experience in email marketing, digital marketing, CRM communications, marketing automation, enrollment communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to be resourceful, proactive, and seek assistance as needed.
- Experience with CRMs such as Salesforce, Slate, HubSpot etc.
- Google Analytics and Google Ads experience.
- Familiarity with WCAG 2.1.
- Knowledge of email compliance regulations.
- Familiarity with email marketing and marketing automation technology.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with others, adapting approach to suit the needs of various audiences.
