The successful candidate will be working in the laboratory of Dr. Zhoumeng Lin in the Center for Environmental and Human Toxicology, Center for Pharmacometrics and Systems Pharmacology, and Department of Environmental and Global Health, the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL. Research projects for this position include: (1) development of physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) and quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) models of drugs, environmental chemicals, and nanoparticles for applications in nanomedicine, animal-derived food safety, and human health risk assessment; (2) collection and meta-analysis of pharmacokinetic and tissue distribution data of nanoparticles in healthy and tumor-bearing animals using machine learning and AI approaches; and (3) integration of PBPK and QSAR models with AI methods to develop AI-assisted computational approaches to support decision-making in human, animal and environmental health.
