As the state’s only college of veterinary medicine, the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine (UF CVM) serves the needs of society by training the next generation of veterinarians, by treating thousands of animal patients and by looking for the cause and cure of diseases that impact both animal and human health. The incumbent will work within the UF College of Veterinary Medicine's Office of Advancement. This office is responsible for major gift fund raising. These gifts support the college in all of its efforts to improve the health and welfare of our animal friends as well as human health. Confidentiality is of the utmost importance.
The Administrative Assistant serves as the assistant to the Office of Advancement team members. In addition, the incumbent will be required to use a database that is maintained at the UF Foundation. The team members travel extensively; therefore, the incumbent in this position assumes a great deal of responsibility. This position requires a highly responsible and self-motivated individual who is able to take initiative and work independently in varied situations.
