Academic Advisor 2 is lead academic advisor for campus-based Elementary Bachelor’s degree program; coordinates native and transfer admission to upper-division program on behalf of the faculty admissions committee. Monitors academic progress and compliance with internal and external policies and addresses probation and suspension issues in consultation with program coordinators. Provides general advising for Professional Training Option minors and Educator Preparation Institute graduate certificate and degree programs. Liaison to teacher preparation programs in CALS and COTA. Recruits potential applicants at internal and external events. Coordinates transfer admission for all undergraduate majors. Coordinates degree certification for campus-based Elementary and Early Childhood majors and all minors.
