This clerkship coordinator is primarily responsible for the execution of a high functioning surgical clerkship experience for all medical students. The coordinator acts as the logistical backbone—linking students, faculty, and external partners—while ensuring compliance with educational standards, managing data and grading, supporting labs and simulation, and delivering high-quality customer service. It’s a high-responsibility role that, when executed well, significantly uplifts the educational environment.

The successful candidate will develop an extramurally funded, nationally-recognized research and extension program emphasizing breeding of specialty and ornamental crops. The program will use both traditional and advanced methods for improving quality traits, abiotic and biotic stress (disease/insect) resistance and improving aesthetic quality of crops through consumer-friendly precision breeding and/or other similar genetic techniques. The program will focus on developing specialty crops that can be grown in greenhouse or other types of protected culture.

The Scene Shop Manager ensures the efficient operation of scenic production work, overseeing the installation and strike of scenery, maintaining shop tools and equipment, and managing production schedules. The scenic area supports three to five productions per semester (fall and spring), as well as one to two summer productions.
