The Assistant Director of Video Production and Content Strategy is responsible for developing and implementing a content strategy that meets the Warrington College of Business’s outlined academic and curricular objectives while overseeing all aspects of video production projects. This position will assist the Director in content strategy development, specifically by managing the workflow, processes, and productivity of the Teaching & Learning Center’s (TLC) video and multimedia teams. They play a pivotal role in ensuring that video projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the creative and technical standards set by the TLC.
This role requires strong technical expertise in production workflows and equipment, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate with content creators, manage timelines, and ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality content across all portfolios. In short, they will oversee video production from concept development to final delivery, implementing new ideas and strategies to make content innovative, engaging, and on-brand with academic programs.
This position reports to the Assistant Dean & Director of the TLC and includes the following categorical responsibilities: comprehensive strategy planning/implementation, technical supervision of production software and equipment, creative design input, mentorship, and production management. This position will manage the day-to-day operations of a comprehensive multimedia team and will be expected to measure performance, productivity, and efficiency across the team while identifying gaps and implementing new strategies as needed.
Ultimately, this role requires a combination of creative, technical, management, and organizational skills to ensure successful video projects within a defined course content strategy.
