Appropriate research areas may include, but are not limited to, sustainable food ingredients, sensory, allergens, toxicology, plant-based food ingredients, chemistry of sustainably sourced food components (flavor, color, nutritive and bioactive compounds) which can promote health while ensuring a palatable food supply, microplastics, engineered nanoparticles, and PFASs in the food chain.

Two technician positions are available in Dr. Feng Tang's laboratory in the Department of Chemistry to support ongoing research projects leveraging Sequencing and Proteomics techniques to study how DNA damage induced by environmental exposure and endogenous metabolism contributes to cancer and aging-related diseases. There will be tremendous opportunities to learn and contribute to exciting research. We are a multi-disciplinary lab that utilizes various techniques (analytical chemistry, biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, NGS sequencing, nanopore sequencing, proteomics and bioinformatic) in mammalian cell culture model systems.

This position serves the Florida livestock industry through the development of an environmentally-sound, sustainable forage agronomy research and education program. The position involves a split appointment with research and extension responsibilities in accordance with the needs of the unit. Although programmatic responsibility is statewide in general, specific program leadership is directed upon the unique tropical and sub-tropical environment of central and south Florida.

The University of Florida School of Theatre and Dance seeks a dance professional to teach undergraduate courses in dance.
