Supporting a Top 6 University and one of Florida’s most prestigious Colleges of Nursing, the Senior Director of Advancement is responsible for the leadership and implementation of the development and alumni affairs program. Reporting to the Dean of the College of Nursing and the Assistant Vice President of Advancement, UF Health Science Center, this position serves as the chief fundraiser and subject matter expert for the college. In addition to the academic leadership, this position will have a dual reporting line to the Assistant Vice President of Development, UF Health. The Senior Director will help drive transformation change by cultivating a donor portfolio, stewarding donors , and soliciting principal, leadership, and major gifts. This position will lead the College of Nursing advancement team and ensure the success of all development-related programs. The selected candidate will serve as a strategic partner between the College of Nursing and UF Advancement, collaborating with central fundraising efforts, ensuring the overall success of alumni programs and fundraising goals, and promoting a culture of philanthropy within the college’s internal and external constituencies.

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in research related to a variety of Exoplanet Demographics studies with Prof. Ballard’s exoplanets lab at the University of Florida (UF). The lab is involved with demographic investigations of exoplanets from a number of angles, including the relationships between planetary system architecture and stellar host mass, age, and multiplicity. Planetary system architecture includes number of planets, orbital spacing, and orbital eccentricity, among other properties.

The Department of Biostatistics is recruiting a tenure-track faculty member at the Associate or Full Professor level. This position includes an administrative role and supplement as the Director of the Research Design and Data Coordinating Center (RDDC), of the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI). The Department is situated jointly within the College of Public Health and Health Professions (PHHP) and the College of Medicine (COM), in the Clinical and Translational Research Building, facilitating multidisciplinary research. Faculty members pursue independent and collaborative research; they also teach in the MS and PhD in Biostatistics Programs and support a concentration in Biostatistics as part of the Masters of Public Health Program. They are advisors and mentors to a wide variety of students. Our current faculty members are leaders in artificial intelligence, big data analysis, cancer, genetics, infectious disease modeling and intervention studies, medical image processing, metabolomics data analysis, survival analysis, causal inference, statistical methods of health surveys, high-dimensional inference, longitudinal data analysis, and clinical trials. The Department works closely with the NIH-funded Clinical and Translational Science Institute and is home to the Children’s Oncology Group, the Center for Statistics and Quantitative Infectious Diseases and multiple NIH and other grants.
