We are seeking a fully funded postdoctoral associate position in bioinformatics and computational biology. This position will be jointly mentored by two investigators including Dr. Li Chen (onsite) in the Department of Biostatistics at University of Florida and Dr. Hongkai Ji (remote) in the Department of Biostatistics at John Hopkins University. This position, available immediately, focuses on developing statistical, machine learning and deep learning methods to analyze multi-omics data (genetic, epigenetic, transcriptomic, imaging, single-cell genomics and spatial omics data) with the goal of understanding the underlying genetic architecture of complex traits and diseases. Key responsibilities for the postdoctoral associate position include data analysis, manuscript writing, research presentation at conferences, and assistance with grant applications. |
