The Veterinary Care Technician I (VCT1) under the direct supervision of the Veterinary Technician Manager (VTM) or Veterinary Technician Assistant Manager (VTAM) provide veterinary technical support to ensure that Animal Care Services (ACS) goals related to research, husbandry and laboratory animal health and well-being are met. The VCT1 under the guidance and direction of the Clinical Veterinarians provide expertise in triage, assessment, treatment, sample collection, records documentation and follow up care. The VCT1 provides veterinary support and care to a wide range of species of animals including (but not limited to) mice, rats, rabbits, cats, dogs, pigs, chickens, frogs and zebra fish. The VCT1 maintains health monitoring records and schedules, receives, assesses and houses USDA species, and communicates with research partners and their lab members to provide and schedule care for the animals as needed. |

The IT Risk Analyst IV serves as a professional level position in Information Security, a unit within UF Information Technology (UFIT), and will support the university’s success through service and operational excellence. Wells Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Florida, College of Medicine is committed to providing comprehensive clinical services for the diagnosis, management, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients suffering from diseases of the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system, including brain tumors, aneurysms, stroke, epilepsy, functional disorders, and spinal disorders and injuries.
