The Animal Care Technician I provides basic care of animals and animal facilities by completing primarily simple and routine animal caretaking and cage wash duties as directed by Operations Manager or their designee, which may occur up to 50% of the time of overall job duties and responsibilities. All actions are completed by strictly and consistently following applicable ACS SOPs including safety procedures and policies. Reports any suspected or actual deviations to SOPs or non-routine situations immediately to Operations Manager or their designee.
Activity Security Manager-OPS 19010605 - EG-FL APPLIED RESEARCH ENTRPS Okaloosa
The ASM will provide physical security oversight including verifying personnel prior to allowing entry in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), ensuring personnel are properly signed in, adding onsite personnel to the facility's automated entry control system (card key system), ensuring all visitors are properly escorted within the classified space to safeguard classified information and minimize work interruptions. The ASM will take responsibility for the daily opening and closing coordinate with approved personnel, respond to IDS system failures, and provide escorts for operations and maintenance. The ASM will coordinate these activities with the Air Force Security Team and the Florida Applied Research in Engineering (FLARE) Director. The ASM appointment will be at UF Building 1701, adjacent to the UF-REEF facility located in Shalimar, Florida.
