The Emerging Pathogens Institute (EPI) is recruiting candidates for a scientific laboratory manager whose primary responsibility will be to oversee the day-to-day operations of the EPI’s BSL3 area.
Research at the Emerging Pathogens Institute focuses on the emergence of pathogenic microorganisms in humans, plants, insects and animals. An understanding of, and experience with biosecurity and microbiology systems, along with prior experience in a BSL3 facility will be advantageous for the person in this position. This position will also work closely with subject matter experts within University of Florida’s Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Program. |
