The Bob Graham Center for Public Service in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Florida is seeking an experienced, service-oriented Administrative Specialist II to support a dynamic academic center dedicated to preparing students for leadership in public service. This position plays a central role in the day-to-day administrative, fiscal, and operational functions of the unit and works closely with the Director, faculty, staff, students, and campus partners to support programs, events, and student-facing initiatives. The successful candidate will bring strong administrative and financial coordination skills, excellent judgment, and a collaborative approach to supporting a collegial, mission-driven environment.
Facilities Operations Spec 27011500 - HA - VP ADMIN Main Campus (Gainesville, FL)
The Facility Operations Specialist (FOS) position is responsible for the direction, coordination, and administration of the assigned facilities including, but not limited to, administrative information/data processing, physical plant maintenance, security, communications, property and space accountability, and emergency operations. Serves as a representative for building occupants/departments. This position provides a consistent and recognizable Point-of-Contact for not only the occupants but also for other UF campus entities, outside agencies, vendors, and service providers. This position is required to work on-site during regular business hours. This position will primarily support the Stetson Medical Sciences Building, Academic Research Building, and Harrell Medical Education Building, but will also assist with other HSC facilities as needed.

The Administrative Specialist II provides high-level administrative, fiscal, HR, and operational support for the Beyond120 program within the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. This position supports the daily operations of the program, coordinates student-focused initiatives and academic processes, manages purchasing and travel, assists with budgeting and financial tracking, and serves as a key liaison to partners across the college and university. Working closely with the Director, the incumbent helps develop and maintain administrative processes, resolve operational issues, and ensure program activities are executed efficiently and in compliance with University policies and procedures.

Health Physicist II 71010000 - EHS-ENVR - HLTH - SAFETY-ADMIN Main Campus (Gainesville, FL)
Work under limited direction of the University’s Assistant Radiation Safety Officer (ARSO). Responsible for coordinating duties associated with managing the radioactive material, x-ray, and laser safety programs for the University of Florida (UF) campus, including off-campus UF facilities throughout the state of Florida. Assists with maintaining and tracking inventory of all x-ray units, ensuring each is properly registered with the State of Florida. Assists with performing safety checks to ensure all units are functioning properly. Assist both ARSO and Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) with maintaining federal and state requirements for radiation protection, including reviewing and reporting on radiation monitoring badge data, conducting radiology/nuclear medicine patient education sessions, monitoring patient treatment areas or labs for radiation levels, and conducting radiation safety training sessions for UF staff members, students, and affiliates. Stay abreast with, and ensure compliance with, regulations and guidance affecting the health physics profession.
