This position has the opportunity to collaborate with faculty, instructional designers, graphic designers, videographers, and educational technologists through all phases of the production process. The position ensures courses convey a modern look, are accessible, are designed with pedagogical strategies based on research, and incorporate new technologies that enhance learning. The position also requires the ability to work independently and lead complex course builds, and in doing so, is responsible for mentoring and training junior staff as it relates to course production. |

| The College of Nursing is seeking a motivated OPS Undergraduate Student Assistant to support research and data science initiatives involving natural language processing (NLP), artificial intelligence (AI), and large-scale data analysis. The selected student will assist with text mining, data preparation, machine learning applications, and the analysis of clinical and research datasets in high-performance computing environments such as HiPerGator and NavigatorAI.
Responsibilities may include processing and analyzing large volumes of text data, implementing NLP techniques and large language models (LLMs), identifying and resolving data quality issues, transforming and managing tabular datasets, and collaborating with interdisciplinary research teams. The ideal candidate will have experience with Python, pandas, NumPy, NLP libraries, and data-driven research methodologies. Experience with healthcare data, electronic health records (EHRs), GatorTron, and the UF Navigator AI Toolkit is highly desirable.

The Agricultural Assistant II provides day-to-day operational leadership for greenhouse, transplant-production, field, and research-support activities in the GCREC Tomato Breeding Program. The employee coordinates and performs crop production and maintenance; operates tractors, trucks, trailers, sprayers, transplanting, and seed-processing equipment; supports planting, harvesting, seed extraction, and research data collection; and trains and directs assigned support personnel. The employee independently recognizes routine operational needs, prioritizes time-sensitive work, and troubleshoots greenhouse, irrigation, equipment, and field-production problems within established research, safety, pesticide-label, and University requirements. A distinctive responsibility is serving as a reliable operator of the tractor-drawn tomato harvester at GCREC and at off-site cooperating grower farms.
