| The Department of Urban and Regional Planning within the University of Florida’s College of Design, Construction and Planning invites applications for a 12-month, nontenure-accruing faculty position at the rank of Instructional Assistant Professor to begin in January 2027.
The Department encourages applications from candidates with background and expertise in the urban and regional planning field. The Department has particular interest in candidates whose teaching contribute to future-oriented, innovative urban and regional transformation and the empowerment of communities and residents. We seek a high-caliber candidate with the planning-based skills to develop interdisciplinary lecture and studio-based courses related to sustainability and resilience delivered on-campus and online.
The successful candidate is anticipated to have a well-developed pedagogy that includes methods to engage a multicultural, interdisciplinary student body and a capacity to teach in the professional, accredited MURP degree program. The candidate would be expected to engage in service consistent with the missions of the Department, the School and the land-grant University. |

| UF Research Integrity, Security and Compliance (RISC) is UF Research’s primary Division responsible for developing and implementing research compliance programs that promote ethical and legally compliant research practices throughout UF’s research enterprise.
This position is the second in the five-level compliance analysist series. The Compliance Analyst will assist UF RISC in execution of the research integrity and other compliance functions. The Analyst will assist in ensuring compliance with federal and sponsor research integrity policies; including drafting reports, maintaining accurate case files and logs, managing compliance committees and assisting UF RISC leadership in developing policies and procedures. The incumbent will work with many compliance, regulatory, administrative and advisory units on campus and maintain a high level of confidentiality. |

The Guo Laboratory focuses on human stem cell biology, 3D brain and barrier organoid/assembloid modeling, microfluidic platforms, and molecular/epitranscriptomic mechanisms of neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental diseases. The incumbent will work closely with the PI and laboratory personnel to conduct research, assist with experimental design and multi-omic data analytics, oversee day-to-day laboratory operations, and mentor student research assistants. |
