Research projects for this position include: (1) development of physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) and quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) models of drugs, environmental chemicals, and nanoparticles for applications in nanomedicine, animal-derived food safety, and human health risk assessment; (2) collection and meta-analysis of pharmacokinetic and tissue distribution data of nanoparticles in healthy and tumor-bearing animals using machine learning and AI approaches; and (3) integration of PBPK and QSAR models with AI methods to develop AI-assisted computational approaches to support decision-making in human, animal and environmental health. This is a 1.0 FTE, 12-month position, expected to start in November 2025, but the start date is flexible. |
