The Academic Assistant II is the front-line hub for UF Online within the CLAS Academic Advising Center. The role coordinates advising logistics for new and continuing students, managing calendars and appointments, preparing students for advising, and keeping information flowing between students and advisors. It supports core enrollment and records tasks such as drop and graduation lists, routine reports, student outreach, and resolution of common holds, and also assists with readmission processing. The position provides professional office and faculty support, greets and routes visitors, answers public inquiries, and helps plan center events. Success in this role requires accuracy, discretion with student information in compliance with FERPA, clear communication, and a steady, student-centered approach in a fast-paced environment.
