Experience in biobanking is highly desirable. The candidate also has the opportunity for clinical service, preferably with cardiovascular or renal pathology; however, those with related experience in endocrinology or other medical disciplines are also encouraged to apply. |

innovative and collaborative investigator with a strong research program focused on Type 2 Diabetes (T2D). Areas of study may include, but are not limited to, molecular and cellular
disease mechanisms, metabolic dysfunction including beta cell inflammation and stress
responses, translation strategies for diagnosis and treatment (e.g., GLP-1 receptor agonists and approaches to mitigate side effects), artificial intelligence (AI) applications in disease modeling and prediction, the microbiome’s role in metabolic disease progression, digital pathology, biomarker discovery, and clinical decision support systems. |
