| The Undergraduate Library Advisor position provides an opportunity for an undergraduate student leader to represent, promote, and support the UF Smathers Libraries. In this position, the Undergraduate Library Advisor will learn more about the libraries while working with library faculty and staff on projects and initiatives designed to support UF students. The Undergraduate Library Advisor will participate in on-campus activities beginning in Fall 2026.
As part of this role, the Undergraduate Library Advisor will participate in training sessions with librarians on library services, information literacy, outreach, and marketing strategies. The ULA will meet regularly with program coordinators for guidance, reflection, feedback, and professional development. The ULA will also undertake an individual project to develop a new promotional, instructional, or student-focused resource for UF students, with particular emphasis on supporting outreach and engagement with first-time and first-generation college students. |
