The University of Florida is currently accepting applications for a tenure-line Open Rank (Assistant/Associate/Full) Professor of Special Education. The Special Education program is housed within the School of Special Education, School Psychology, and Early Childhood Studies. Program faculty have an established reputation as leaders in (a) special education teacher education; (b) sustaining a robust special education teacher workforce; (c) and evidence-based literacy instruction to address the needs of students with dyslexia and other struggling readers. Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain a systematic line of research, obtain and manage external funding, advise and mentor graduate students, and teach courses within the Special Education Program commensurate with the incoming rank. Additionally, candidates will engage in service to the school, college, university, and profession.
General Pediatric After-Hours (PAH) - Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor 29091200 - MD-PEDS-GENERAL Main Campus (Gainesville, FL)
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida is seeking a board-certified/eligible pediatrician at the Clinical Assistant/Associate/Professor level to pursue a non-tenure track career in the Division of General Pediatrics. This position will provide clinical services to patients seen in the General Pediatrics Primary Care clinics and Shands Teaching Hospitals, as well as teaching residents and students from the College of Medicine (e.g., medical students, physician assistant students). Primary responsibilities center on providing after-hours outpatient care in the Pediatrics After Hours clinic, with secondary support for Pediatric Primary Care in our ambulatory locations. To support after-hours services for pediatric patients, clinical responsibilities will primarily occur in the evenings (after 5:00 p.m.) and on weekends.

The University of Florida’s School of Architecture (UFSoA) in the College of Design, Construction and Planning invites applications for one faculty position emphasizing architectural design and instruction, at the Assistant Instructional Professor level. This is a 12-month appointment and will be based on the main campus in Gainesville, Florida. In response to recent growth, UFSoA is looking for an instructional faculty with extensive pedagogical interests prepared to thrive within a highly competitive R1 research university. Successful candidates will be invested within the studio-based design culture and curriculum at the UFSoA, will contribute to academic and professional service, and may pursue design-centered scholarship within a limited framework.

The University of Florida School of Architecture invites applicants for one or more tenure-track appointments at the rank of Assistant Professor. We seek candidates with expertise in architectural design: innovative designers, dedicated educators, and strong researchers who are prepared to thrive within a highly-competitive R1 research university. We are specifically interested in candidates with demonstrated expertise in studio design instruction. Secondary areas of expertise may include full-scale fabrication, design/build practices, digital design and visualization, housing, practice, and/or other areas of funded research and peer-reviewed publication. In this tenure-accruing position successful candidates are expected to achieve distinction within at least two of three areas: research/scholarship, teaching, and service. Candidates for tenure must demonstrate excellence through publications, grants, successful students, and contributions to the university and profession. This is a full-time, nine (9)-month per year position. The successful candidate will be based on our main campus in Gainesville, Florida and should anticipate a start date of Fall 2026.
