Pepperdine Graziadio Business School is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruitment Coordinator to play an integral role in supporting our Recruitment and Advising team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various administrative and coordination functions that support a range of recruitment-focused activities and initiatives, as well as directly engaging prospective students. In addition to responding to inquiries and making appropriate referrals, you will play a critical role in managing prospective student data, maintaining our CRM, facilitating the execution of recruitment events, and working on special projects, while helping to optimize collaboration among the Recruitment and Advisement team in a shared endeavor to meet our student enrollment goals and objectives. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence at our Malibu campus at least 3 days per week.
This position directly supports the University's mission and strategic plan by sharing our commitment to transform students' lives through education by supporting prospective student efforts to join the Pepperdine learning community.
Duties
- Coordinate and support recruitment activities, including prospective student outreach, information sessions, webinars, promotional events, and international events (if applicable).
- Administrative Support: assist in arranging travel, managing schedules, interfacing with vendors, event support, conducting call campaigns and other duties as assigned. Potential for lifting packets of paper and school promotional material (up to 20lbs).
- Activity Support: respond to incoming general inquiries, attend local recruitment events both on and off campus, complete a high volume of outbound outreach to prospective students (Phone calls and emails) , complete data entry, CRM management, etc.
- Office Management: manage expense reports, accounts payable, ordering, inventories, inter-office coordination and prospective student interactions including managing clubs and activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned, some travel throughout the year to support recruitment activities is possible.

Skills and Qualifications
Required
- Progress toward a Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or higher education administration.
- Previous experience with customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong professional and interpersonal skills; ability to take initiative, multi-task and work independently and effectively in a team-oriented environment; highly organized and very detail-oriented.
- Strong computer skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Office, database management.
Preferred
- Completed Bachelor’s degree.
- Three years of work experience in office administration, sales, higher education administration or related field.
- Experience in customer service, sales, accounting or research, or a combination of these.
- Experience with CRM management.
- Have a good understanding of the nuances of marketing graduate education; a highly professional, polite and diplomatic approach to customer service and to the work environment; experience in public speaking; experience in cross-cultural communications and cultural sensitivity.
- Advanced skills in data management and data analysis; experience with a CRM system; good research skills.
This is a Regular, Nonexempt, 40 hour per week position that may be eligible for remote or hybrid work in accordance with the University Policy Manual.
Expected Pay Range: $22.95 - $25.50 per hour
The above pay range reflects what Pepperdine University reasonably expects to pay for this position at time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on relevant factors such as work experience, market conditions, education/training, and skill level. In addition to base pay, Pepperdine offers a robust and highly competitive benefits package.
