The primary purpose of this position is to support the efforts and initiatives of the Graziadio Business School in prospecting, engaging, and enrolling qualified candidates into programs geared toward working professionals, which include the Part-Time MBA and the Bachelor of Science in Management degree completion program. The role requires timely outreach to new and existing inquiries and reliance on multiple methods and channels to communicate, engage, motivate, and support prospective students through their program exploration and application process. Recruitment duties include, but are not limited to conducting individual consultations, hosting campus tours and class visits, making group presentations, and representing the Graziadio Business School at various in-person and virtual events intended as recruitment opportunities

Duties

  • Provide direct implementation of the Part-Time MBA and BSM recruitment process for Graziadio Business School; create and implement individualized recruitment campaigns; maintain ongoing communication with applicants utilizing various tools (email, text messaging, and telephone) to support enrollment, academic, and institutional goals.
  • Utilize the Salesforce dashboard, identify, contact, and access student background and experience for the appropriate program and term. Maintain relationships with prospective students, advise and facilitate student applications, guide admitted students in completing the admission and enrollment process.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with various community college partners to create pipeline opportunities for the BSM and MBA Pathway program, including local and in/out of state travel to industry fairs and conferences.
  • Participate in one or two subcommittees to assist with various recruitment projects that will aid in lead generation and event execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Uphold University mission through work performed.

Skills and Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's Degree; Minimum of three years of successful higher education student recruitment or corporate sales experience. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including written and verbal skills, presentations, and teamwork; Effective organization and time-management skills; Excellent customer relationship management skills; Results-oriented. Basic knowledge of office equipment and strong functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheet, Drive, and Slide).

Preferred: MBA; 5+ years of proven success in corporate sales or higher education student recruitment; Established contacts within the local business community; Crowd-sourcing experience. In-depth knowledge of graduate-level programs; Successful consultative sales or student recruitment experience. Previous experience with Salesforce CRM and/or PeopleSoft.

This is a Regular, Exempt, 40 hour per week position that may be eligible for hybrid work in accordance with the University Policy Manual. There are two vacancies for this position: one located at the Calabasas campus and the other at the West LA campus.

Expected Pay Range: $66,560 - $68,556 per year 

The above pay range reflects what Pepperdine University reasonably expects to pay for this position at time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on relevant factors such as work experience, market conditions, education/training, and skill level. In addition to base pay, Pepperdine offers a robust and highly competitive benefits package.
