| The Special Programs Manager is responsible for upholding, fostering, and expanding the University’s commitment to hospitality and excellence in customer service. Working with external and internal stakeholders, this position is responsible for advancing the legacy of Pepperdine University, and contributing both financially and non-financially to the welfare of the University community. Collaborating with these stakeholders furthers the University’s mission while providing a world-class experience to all who visit the campus. This position requires a proactive and optimistic servant leader, willing to take the steps necessary to further the department and Pepperdine University as a whole. This is a highly visible role, which necessitates a variety of communication, patience, determination, and critical thinking in order to thrive.
This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing filming and 1-day events by external organizations coming to Pepperdine’s Malibu campus. Additionally, the Special Programs Manager plays a critical role in the summer programs in ensuring excellence in the execution of events and overnight stays as an outstanding exemplar for the Pepperdine community. This position is a critical point person for groups coming to campus to ensure strong hospitality. Due to the department’s varied needs, the Special Programs Manager must be willing to work flexible hours, including late nights and weekends as needed. The Special Programs Manager reports to the Director of Special Programs and assists in strategizing efforts for increasing revenue through efficient, mission-aligned use of the University's campuses and centers. |

| The Villa Graziadio Executive Center Manager of Hospitality & Operations serves as a key leader, partnering closely with the General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the University’s full-service guestroom and conference center. This role is responsible for leading event execution, supporting revenue-generating efforts, and ensuring operational excellence, reflective of Pepperdine University’s mission.
Bringing excellence to all aspects of work, this position plays a critical role in delivering a seamless, high-quality guest experience, while assisting in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires an operational leader with expertise in hospitality, event planning and execution, customer service, with a strong focus on supporting revenue growth initiatives. |

| The Grants Administrator provides administrative, technical, and compliance support to the Office of Research, Grants, and Foundation Relations. Reporting to the Senior Grants and Compliance Manager, the Grants Administrator supports the full lifecycle of extramural grants, including proposal development, award setup, compliance tracking, reporting, records management, and faculty support. This position contributes to the University’s mission by helping faculty secure and responsibly manage external funding that advances research, scholarship, and student-centered initiatives. |

| This position is very important to the Office of Research, Grants, and Foundation Relations (RGFR), as it involves a great deal of interaction with the faculty, staff, and students of Pepperdine University. This position provides comprehensive administrative support to the Associate Provost and the RGFR team, including the organization, entry, and retrieval of correspondence and data relevant to Pepperdine's internal research programs and other research support services. It is a position requiring confidentiality and sensitivity to issues and personnel, as well as excellent communication skills and attention to detail. This position supports the University's strategic plan by promoting continued interest in and growth of Pepperdine's research portfolio. |

GIS Analyst

| The GIS Analyst plays a critical role in the planning, execution, and closeout phases of university construction projects by managing, analyzing, and visualizing geospatial data. The Analyst will collect, maintain, and improve the integrity of all spatial data and produce maps and analysis in support of key administrative and operational decisions. This position supports the architectural, design, project management, and maintenance teams by providing accurate, up-to-date location intelligence to aid in decision-making, mitigate risk, enhance project efficiency from site evaluation through 'as-built' documentation, and to support maintenance and emergency operations. This position will implement and maintain a suite of GIS and related software and processes in collaboration with department leadership and technical staff. |
