We have an opportunity for a Billings & Collections Officer to join our office-based team on St Kilda Road overlooking Albert Park.
Using negotiation and problem-solving skills, the Billings & Collections Officer will drive the collections function, provide reporting, perform reconciliations and follow up outstanding debts.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and Epicor is preferable, but not necessary.
What you’ll be doing
- Drive the collections process for outstanding payments
- Achieve resolutions and recover outstanding debts to set KPIs
- Escalate collection issues
- Negotiate and implement payment arrangements
- Contribute to timely and accurate processing of billing and residents’ accounts
- Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status
Things that matter to us
- Experience in a collections or accounts receivable role
- Relevant qualifications
- Working knowledge of AN-ACC funding model
- Understanding of the fees and charges applicable to Residential Aged Care
- Understanding of the Aged Care Act 1997
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations
- NDIS Check (includes Police Clearance)
- Eligibility to work in Australia
