Assistant Football Coach (Defense) Gambier, OH
Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach (Defense). This is a full time, 10-month reporting position with benefits. Under the general direction of the Head Football Coach, this coach will assist with the responsibilities of the NCAA D-III football program in accordance and compliance with NCAA, NCAC, and Kenyon College policies and regulations. The Assistant Football Coach will work in conjunction with the head coach to fulfill the following responsibilities: coaching student athletes, mentoring intern coaches, scouting opponents, recruiting various territories, tracking equipment and developing alumni contacts. Although the head coach will be primarily responsible for the organization, maintenance and implementation of the offensive and defensive game plan and installation, this assistant position will work with the defensive coordinator to facilitate this process. This position may also serve as the Special Teams Coordinator and/or Director of Operations, responsible for managing all duties related to the coordination of travel. Additional departmental responsibilities will be assigned in game management, teaching, and / or administration. ERP Programmer Analyst Gambier, OH
Kenyon College is seeking applications for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Programmer Analyst. The ERP Programmer Analyst is a member of the Information Technology (IT) department that supports college enterprise data systems and their data integrations. The ERP Programmer Analyst engages with the campus community, performing duties that include system and database management, integration, and analysis. The ERP Programmer Analyst creates and maintains custom system integrations that connect and synchronize data between enterprise software systems and performs the detailed analysis needed to implement these integrations effectively across a combination of campus and cloud infrastructure. The ERP Programmer Analyst must interact extensively across departments to support the mission of the College. Reporting to the Director of Institutional Data Systems, the ERP Programmer Analyst is supported by the IT Leadership team in the Information Technology department.
Assistant Director of Athletics Communications Gambier, OH
Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Athletics Communications. This is a full-time, 10-month reporting position with benefits. Under the general direction of the Director of Athletics Communications, the Assistant is responsible for promoting the College’s twenty-three varsity athletics programs, as well as fitness and recreation programs, through written, verbal and electronic communications. Primary duties include overseeing the upkeep of the Athletics Department’s website, writing press releases and game summaries, compiling in-game statistics, editing and maintaining photos and videos, documenting history and records, and cultivating communication with coaches, administrators, student-athletes and media. The Assistant Director of Athletics Communications will also help maintain the College’s athletics social media platforms and play an important operations role in live game coverage, including handling video streams, audio broadcasts and in-game statistics. Post-baccalaureate Researcher in Chemistry Gambier, OH
The Kenyon College Chemistry Department is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, post-baccalaureate position in the laboratory of Yutan Getzler. This position is funded through a Research at Undergraduate Institutions (RUI) grant from the NSF to study controlled polymer degradation. The immediate goal of our program is synthesis and characterization of linear and cyclic polyesters via ring-opening polymerization of commercially available and novel lactones using coordination compounds. Several variants of the novel lactones are in hand on multi-gram scales and their syntheses are well developed. Initial conditions for polymerization of commercially available monomers are established. This position designed for those intending to pursue graduate studies in synthetic chemistry.
