Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a Tenure-Track position in Economics at the rank of Assistant Professor or instructor level beginning in July 2019. The successful candidate should demonstrate a strong interest and competence in teaching undergraduates, a commitment to research and an ability to work successfully and collaboratively in an inclusive environment. Particular consideration will be given to candidates with teaching and research interests in macroeconomics and monetary economics.
The economics program at Kenyon emphasizes economic theory, public policy applications, and empirical analysis. Teaching responsibilities are five courses per year.
