About the role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who combines deep technical expertise with a strategic mindset. This role goes beyond code delivery — you will be a key contributor to technical design, platform health, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll help shape the future of the platform while mentoring others and identifying impactful opportunities that align with company strategy.
About You
As an experienced Software Engineer you will have previous experience and Senior level ability to:
- Set and uphold high standards of code quality across the team.
- Handle complex programming tasks and deliver well-tested, maintainable solutions.
- Identify areas for improvement within the platform (e.g., technical debt, refactoring opportunities) and take action to implement or prioritize changes.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of both technical problems and effective, scalable solutions.
- Lead and contribute to solution design discussions.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in a senior or lead software engineering role.
- Strong proficiency in Java 17/21, Spring boot, docker, Cloud formation and key AWS services such as Lambda/S3/ECS.
- Experience in Streaming solutions such as pub/sub model.
- Track record of leading design discussions and delivering complex software solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive initiatives to completion.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working with diverse stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of system performance, platform reliability, and software lifecycle metrics
