About the role 

**This is a 9 month Secondment opportunity for a Front-End with React experience to join the BPT team**

Join our talented cross-functional agile development team, contributing to the wider development lifecycle by submitting and reviewing pull requests and participating in continuous delivery and release management. We are looking for somebody who is self-starting, passionate about working with our stakeholders to build and deliver amazing customer experiences.

You will enable the continued product and platform development of our universal (Web/iOS/Android) front-end by contributing to customer facing code in written in React, React Native/ and TypeScript. Additionally, supporting our backend applications using Spring Boot with Java and Kotlin and Node.js to meet the growing demand of our clients and services.

About You 

Key experiences required:

• Strong knowledge in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js and Java and/or Kotlin
• Experience with React and/or React Native and exposure to other common JavaScript frameworks such as Redux
• Experience with AWS and working with a microservices architecture
• Experience building, testing, deploying and supporting REST APIs using Node.js and Spring Boot
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particular using GitHub Actions
• Usage of Git for version control
• A strong focus on test automation via unit tests and integration tests
