About The Role

Leadership of cross functional team that is empowered and accountable for decisions and outcomes on what will best serve the foundations of the platform and experience trends for our customers. This includes broad foundational technology changes and roadmaps for our Racing platform, self-service foundations for other teams to consume/build on, and supporting the delivery of best in class customer experiences.

The Platform Manager team will be accountable for at least 2 delivery teams of 8 people with diverse skillsets who utilise agile ways of working to deliver Sportsbet’s product set, internal tooling and overall platform health. As a Platform Manager, keeping a focus on growing individuals, building team dynamics, prioritising a platform backlog with multiple inputs, enabling delivery teams, and collaborating across a wide range of functions are key success factors

**This is a 6 month Secondment opportunity**

This role sits within the Racing-Sportsbook space, where we’ve got a big year ahead—building powerful new pricing capabilities via Racing Supamodel and continuing our Racing Re-platform journey as we prepare for GBP.

About You

Ideally, you will possess some of the following experiences:

• Delivery leadership experience within eCommerce and Agile environments of high volume / throughput and complexity (e.g of product, stakeholders) 
• Experience leading teams toward continual delivery and maximum efficiency, including through times of ambiguity or challenges.
• Previous experience consistently contributing to leadership communities in a collaborative manner that supports the right outcomes for Sportsbet.
• Proven ability to work with ambiguity e.g can facilitate change with limited certainty and move the team toward an outcome
• Proven ability to pivot and change, bias for using data and insights to help drive decision making
