About the Role
The AI Automation Engineer is a key role, responsible for delivering innovative and sustainable AI solutions, contributing to Sportsbet’s competitive advantage in the Generative AI domain.
This is an exciting opportunity to support our industry leading Product Teams. Delivering cutting edge customer facing AI solutions and optimising their performance, along with delivering key components back into our international Flutter brands for wider use.
- Lead and develop GenAI testing solutions aligned with business goals, advocating best practices in testing methodologies, automation, and model valuation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and be part of the GenAI community to evolve testing strategy and lead adoption and solution enhancements
- Drive, manage and prioritise an automation backlog using an internal GenAI tool, iterating and improving our capability through real-world testing and uplift
- Design and implement GenAI testing frameworks and custom test models for LLMs, generative models, and AI pipelines
- Test, assess and report on the performance and behaviour of GenAI systems in production environments looking at functionality, performance and compatibility
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases and coverage metrics and evaluation techniques tailored to AI applications
- Work as part of a team to deliver Front End features in an Agile environment
About You
If you have experience with some of the following (or a strong desire to learn), we’d love to hear from you:
- Experience in Generative AI and Agentic AI development.
- Software development experience preferably Python, Java
- Experience in building and maintaining solutions running in production environments at scale.
- Proven experience in building test automation frameworks from scratch or enhancing existing frameworks
- Expertise in developing and deploying API test automation suites
- Hands-on experience with frontend test automation using technologies such as Playwright, Appium / Detox, Cypress, and Selenium
- Skilled in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, with preference for GitHub Actions and Codemagic
- Practical experience working with the AWS cloud platform and its services
