About the Role

This is a high-visibility leadership role shaping FanDuel’s trading product platforms, influencing sports book operations. Reporting to the GM FanDuel Australia & VP Trading Product, this role sits on the Product Leadership Team and oversees the strategy, vision, objectives, and delivery of our trading product suite.

Key responsibilities:

  • Evangelise product suite vision and roadmap, securing alignment with commercial and engineering leaders.
  • Own automation initiatives and lead AI-driven projects.
  • Define and measure success criteria, showing how products drive customer value and trading outcomes.
  • Manage and report suite performance at executive level.
  • Ensure product requirements, delivery approach, and architectural decisions align with FanDuel Group goals.
  • Act as thought leader for trading product, driving innovation and experimentation.
  • Collaborate across heads of product/tech/commercial, influencing decisions regularly.
  • Develop strategies based on KPIs such as margin growth, pricing accuracy, latency reduction, error rate reduction, and handle growth.

You’ll collaborate regularly with US stakeholders, which occasionally require early morning calls.

About You

  • You combine domain expertise with platform thinking, able to balance trading precision with customer outcomes.
  • You thrive in ambiguity, bringing clarity and direction to cross-functional teams.
  • Proven product leader with track record of managing product teams and leading cross-functional squads (engineering, data, commercial)
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-change and/or growth organisations.
  • Deep domain expertise in sports betting, trading, or risk platforms is highly desirable – ideally with direct experience in sportsbook operations or risk/trading technology.
  • Candidates with exceptional backend/platform experience in high-volume transactional systems (e.g. fintech, gaming, exchanges) will also be considered.
