About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Technology, you will lead a cross functional Feature Team of 8 to 10 people to ensure efficient and sustainable delivery of customer outcomes. You will play an instrumental role on growing individuals, building team dynamics, and uplifting agile practices.

Day to day you will:

• Set objectives with the team consistent with the performance framework which promote individual, team and organisational outcomes
• Ensure team members receive regular feedback via 1:1s and other conversations
• Understand the learning objectives of the team and ensure needs are met
• Manage Backlogs to ensure alignment with customer outcome and provide delivery insight (estimates & progress, risks/issues, dependencies, etc.)
• Provide ongoing insight to stakeholders on feature progress and/or team health
• Organise and facilitate all key scrum ceremonies, including feature inception, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning demos and other scrum related ceremonies
• Identify and remove impediments, prevent distractions that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver the sprint goal
• Perform continuous improvement both with the feature team, and contributing to broader delivery improvements as a member of the "delivery" practice
• Work with members of the Technology community and competency groups to contribute to the growth and development of Sportsbet’s delivery practices

About You

• Proven ability to work with ambiguity e.g. can facilitate change with limited certainty and move the team toward an outcome
• Demonstrated ability to interact positively and constructively with internal stakeholders, partners, and team members
• Ability to successfully manage multiple streams of work in a high-pressure environment
• Agile mindset with a focus on value driven iterative solutions
• Proficient in collaboration and reporting tools

Exposure to following frameworks beneficial:

• Basic AWS concepts and services such as VPC, EC2, ECS, Cloud formation, RDS, etc. and Serverless architecture e.g., Lambda
• Microservice based architecture and event-driven architecture
• Understanding of CI/CD and relevant tools and technologies such as Docker, Github Actions, etc
