Job Responsibilities:-
- Operating the Community Liaison Centre (CLC) in the construction site
- Managing all correspondences (e.g. calls, faxes, email etc.) from the public and work parties by following the standard and diverting all enquiries to the persons in-charge of the project
- Planning and implement large-scale advertising and promotional event;
- To communicate and liaise with the local community, relevant authorities and the District Council members,
- Attending all liaison meetings, take records during these meetings and follow up on any issues raised during these meetings;
- Preparing press materials, including but not limited to public consultation plans, banners, pamphlets, leaflets, posters, reports, and booklets;
- Attending public consultation forums or meetings;
- Liaising, handling complaints and enquiries from different parties;
- Managing any public inquiries and complaints and registering them in record
- Responsible for all community liaison matters that relate to the project
Job Requirements:-
- Have a recognised university degree or an equivalent qualification in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related disciplines at the discretion of the Engineer.
- At least 5 years of hands-on working experience in public affairs, community relations, complaint handling, journalism, event marketing, public relations, promotions, advertising field, corporate communications and crisis management preferably from Public Relations Agency;
- Have experience in releasing press materials and handling general public enquiries and complaints from stakeholders
- Well versed in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing) ; and
- Have good sense of graphic design; proficiency in photoshop, illustrator and inDesign would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to work on Sunday and Public Holidays
- Good command of both verbal and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua)
