Job Duties
- Responsible for supporting server and network infrastructure and defining and implementing upgrades to existing systems or introduction of new infrastructure.
- Ensure that systems are effectively and constantly monitored using automated tools and manage alerts to provide advance or immediate notice of incidents or failures.
- Complete systems patching according to best practice and supplier update schedules
- Ensure that all operational documentation required to ensure proper routine administration is up-to date and that disaster recovery documentation is complete.
- Ensure the organization’s systems and information are not compromised and the safe continuation of business operations.
- Review audit trails as required and report any security incidents.
- Complete backup and recovery testing ensuring systems can be recovered in the event of major incident.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in IT or related field.
- Able to support users at multiple locations.
- At least 5 years of desktop support experience in construction industry/engineering firm.
- Good communication skill in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Good network or infrastructure experience will be preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skill in Windows environment.
- Able to perform Level 1 (ServiceDesk) and level 2 (On-site) IT support.
