About the Role
Joining our Lifestyles team, you will provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their homes or the community, with travel between clients and working short, split shifts required.
Successful candidates will have availability for short shifts (up to 2 hours) across weekdays and will be required to travel to different locations to support people with disability living in Abbotsford and Clovelly. Travel to surrounding suburbs may also be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assistance with daily living (including personal care)
- Domestic assistance (support with household chores)
- Maintain and monitor person-centred plans
- Documenting and progress note keeping
- Community access and transport (with the use of your own vehicle)
Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting people with disability
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Confidence and experience in manual handling and providing personal care
- Australian Drivers Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Willing to complete basic household chores
- Passionate about delivering Person-Centred care
