About the role
Reporting to the Head of People and Culture Business Partnering for Child, Youth & Families, in this role, you will support teams across Western Australia (WA), South Australia (SA), and Northern Territory (NT).
This role focuses primarily on end-to-end case management support including disciplinary actions, performance issues and grievances, with coaching of people leaders, Award and Policy and Procedure implementation and interpretation, generalist HR/ER support and strategic HR guidance to assist managers in achieving their objectives.
You will play a key role in our fast-paced, agile environment, fostering strong partnerships and providing HR expertise to drive effective outcomes. The position offers flexibility to work from your preferred location, whether from home or one of our LWB offices. While most of your work will be remote, occasional travel may be required, and there will be instances when you’ll need to work from the office.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and provide end-to-end support on HR matters, including disciplinary actions, performance issues, grievances, and complex case management scenarios. Partner with managers to resolve issues effectively.
- Provide advice, support and coaching to leaders on a range of complex and sensitive IR/ER or HR issues
- Respond to general HR enquiries as required
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources
- Experience with high-volume case management
- Experience as an HR generalist and experience in IR/ER
- Understanding of the Australian Industrial Relations System and EEO practices and principles as they apply within the jurisdiction
- Demonstrated ability to develop business partnerships with all levels and in geographically dispersed locations
- Solution focused with strong influencing skills
- Experience working in a fluid and changing environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
