About the Role

Reporting to the Director, National Operations - Aged Care, you will lead a team of Aged Care Support Leaders, ensuring our frontline workforce across our national southern region is recruited, upskilled and engaged, delivering top-quality service to elderly Australians. Using strong networking and partnership skills, you will source solutions to workforce shortages and promote LWB as an employer of choice.  This permanent, full time hybrid position will be based from any of our Melbourne offices (Sunshine, Box Hill, Dandenong) along with flexibility to work from home.  Occasional interstate travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong and positive leadership for the Aged Care workforce
  • Drive change and a culture of continuous improvement
  • Implement local business development strategies that contribute to the positive growth, diversification of LWB staff and a reduction in brokerage
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop strategies to grow and retain Aged Care Workforce and reduce external brokerage.

Skills & Experience  

  • Demonstrated leadership experience within the Human Services sector
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory environment for Aged Care
  • Proven experience collaborating and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
  • Proven record of driving growth and performance in regions
  • Demonstrated experience in creating positive change for teams
  • Experience in facilitating large meetings, both in person and online.
