About the Role

We have opportunities to provide one-on-one lifestyle support to individuals with disabilities in their homes or the community, with travel between clients and working short, split shifts required. We also offer roles in our Day Program, which caters to the interests and abilities of our clients and often includes social outings, recreational and leisure activities whilst encouraging positive social participation and community integration. Shifts will be during daytime hours Monday to Sunday.

Key Responsibilities

• Support clients with high complex and medical needs
• Facilitate social participation through community-based activities
• Transport clients using a company van

• Assist with personal care, mobility, hygiene, and manual handling
• Empower clients to find their strengths and build their capacity to live independently
• Ability to follow and be adaptable to person-centred support plans at home and in the community

Skills & Experience

• An unrestricted New South Wales driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Committed to work flexible work hours across the week, including public holidays
• Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop
• A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011

Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
