About the Role

These are newly created roles reporting to the Manager Assurance, Risk and Clinical – Aged Care. You will support our operational teams by providing expert clinical advice, driving best practice and ensuring that our services meet regulatory and clinical governance standards.

You will work within the Practice, Assurance and Policy Team, partnering closely with our regional teams to promote quality care, respond to clinical queries, and support complex case management. This role is key to embedding person centred, evidence based clinical practice across our aged care programs.

These are permanent full time roles offering flexibility to work from your preferred location, whether from home or one of our local LWB offices. While most of the work can be done remotely, occasional travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical advice across aged care operations to ensure safe, high quality care.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement a person centred approach to clinical practices.
  • Respond to clinical queries and support staff in managing incidents, infection control and restrictive practices.
  • Contribute to the development and roll out of evidence informed assessment tools.
  • Lead or participate in complex case discussions and support follow up actions.
  • Assist in the preparation for audits, accreditations and regulatory reviews.
  • Support clinical training, mentoring and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Participate in stakeholder engagement and service user feedback to inform practice improvements.

Skills and Experience

  • Professional registration, Registered Nurse Allied Health, Other Health Profession with a professional registration or relevant workplace experience in the Aged Care Sector.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and experience in aged or home care.
  • Experience using evidence informed clinical frameworks and models.
  • Excellent problem solving, decision making and strategic thinking skills.
  • The ability to provide coaching, training and mentorship to staff.
  • Understanding of aged care legislation, standards and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A valid Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel as required.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.
