About the role 
This permanent part-time position in St Kilda involves providing assistance with activities of daily living and contributing to the development, implementation, and review of Individual Plans.

 The role supports four males with behaviour support plans in place who love to have a lot of fun, keep a  busy home and are looking for someone who can match their energy, be creative and provide active support to them.

Key responsibilities: 

• Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans
• Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
• Maintain thorough record keeping
• Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues
• Advocate for client choice and control

Skills & Experience

• Experience and confidence in working with behaviours of concern
• Creativity and passion for providing active support
• A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities and personal goals of people with disabilities.
• The ability to develop a positive relationship with clients and to support their Individual Personal Plan.
• A current Senior First Aid (level 2) Certificate.
• A current unrestricted Driver Licence and willingness to drive a company van.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and an International Criminal History Record Check; if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia in the last 10 years.
