About the role 
This permanent part-time position in Box Hill North involves supporting people with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs to live life on their own terms. 

The successful candidate will be a dedicated and compassionate female* support worker who is passionate about listening, encouraging independence and helping people achieve their goals and reams. 

Please see below roster. Roster Split is 51:30/59:00

Key responsibilities: 

• Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans
• Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
• Maintain thorough record keeping
• Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues
• Advocate for client choice and control

Skills & Experience

• Experience with intellectual disabilities
• Confidence and experience in providing personal care
• A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities and personal goals of people with disabilities.
• The ability to develop a positive relationship with clients and to support their Individual Personal Plan.
• Cert IV in Disability or similar
• A current Senior First Aid (level 2) Certificate.
• A current unrestricted Driver Licence and willingness to drive a company van.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and an International Criminal History Record Check; if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia in the last 10 years.
