About the role

Working as part of the Strategic Engagement team, managing our intranet and internal newsletters to deliver clear, engaging content that strengthens connection and drives meaningful engagement for our employees, carers and people we support. This is a permanent full-time opportunity that can be located anywhere on the East Coast.  There is flexibility to work from home and from one of our local offices.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of internal engagement activities across LWB.
  • Work across the team to ensure internal engagement initiatives are coordinated, consistent and integrated.
  • Assist with planning and delivery of organisation-wide internal engagement activities and campaigns.
  • Develop communications, newsletters, stories and other internal content
  • Maintain editorial schedules to ensure newsletters are timely, relevant and consistent.
  • Work with teams to identify stories that reflect organisational culture, practice and impact.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day operation of the LWB intranet including the visual design, site navigation and site content in partnership with relevant directorates.

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or other relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience in internal communications and engagement within a large dynamic organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing or managing web sites or intranets.
  • Demonstrated experience with common web technology (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with a sound understanding of SharePoint, Teams and Viva Engage.
  • Demonstrated experience and familiarity with social software and other web-based technologies.
  • Knowledge and understanding of general CMS systems.
  • Excellent editing, copywriting and storytelling capabilities.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, external organisations, funding bodies and government agencies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for the creation of reports, presentations, and other general correspondence.
