About the role
Reporting to Team Leader - Behaviour Support Planning Coordination, you will play a crucial role in providing specialised administrative, coordination, and oversight for the development and authorisation of Behaviour Support Plans (BSP) within our Disability & Mental Health Services. This is a part time (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) maximum term contract through to February 2026 where you can work from home or one of our local offices, wherever you work best.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development of BSPs in accordance with organisational procedures and NDIS guidelines
- Monitor and track BSP updates and progress, collaborating closely with Client Services and Behaviour Support Practitioners
- Manage BSP expiry dates to ensure timely authorisation processes and reduce unauthorised restrictive practices (URP)
- Undertake restrictive practice reporting to the NDIS Commission and other state/territory bodies
- Facilitate restrictive practice authorisation processes and support Client Services to understand the relevant authorisation requirements
- Update and maintain information in national and state department portals and systems
- Conduct quality reviews of data and information for accuracy and completeness
Skills & Experience
- Qualification in Business Administration, Community Services, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of NDIS restrictive practices
- Knowledge of, and ability to navigate, the NDIS Commission’s Portal
- High level administrative skills with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
- Effective communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.
