Identity & Access Senior Manager, Information Security

Your new role at NewDay  

An integral part of how we keep NewDay safe and a trusted security partner. Your role is crucial to enabling people to securely access the right systems and services at the right time.  Accountable for Identity and Access practices, and access provisioning processes on in scope systems and an SME to wider business functions.  You will lead the team to govern identities, enabling role-based access for our core platforms and business applications. 

You’ll deliver 

  • Leading and inspiring a team of security engineers to deliver innovative solutions, drive automation and continuously improve ways of working. 

  • A strategy and roadmap for governing identities, access and EntraID for NewDay platforms. 

  • Enhancements to frameworks and practices to ensure Identity and access management good practice across the Azure and AWS cloud platforms, and core applications. 

  • Close collaboration with Architecture, Platform and Engineering teams to deliver practices aligned to the EntraID architecture. 

  • Metrics and measures that demonstrate delivery of our objectives. 

What you’ll bring  

We need knowledge, experience + expertise in:   

  • Understanding team needs, retains and develops colleagues through coaching and mentorship. 

  • Identity and access architecture and management practices on the Microsoft Azure platform / EntraID in a multi-tenant environment. 

  • Identity and access frameworks and industry standards. 

  • A DevOps environment and skilled in Agile working practices 

  • Cloud platform security practices and standards for authentication, authorisation, access administration and governance. 

And would love you to know or learn:  

  • Security engineering practices across Azure and AWS cloud platform environments. 

  • Support for Microsoft security certifications. 

  • Payment Card Industry data security standards.
