Decisioning Developer, Decision Systems

Your new role at NewDay  

Our Decisioning team is the most dynamic there is, and the impact of their work is more visible and has a bigger impact than elsewhere. Delivering credit decision strategy improvements to the customer journey, your contribution allows us to continue to make effective decisions as well as support the company’s drive to innovate in the consumer credit space. 

You’ll deliver 

  • Changes to the decision systems. This will involve the development of strategies, testing, documentation and monitoring from both a project and BAU perspective. You’ll analyze business requirements to assess the impact on systems infrastructure and customer journeys. 

  • (Supporting the) Management and planning of deliveries, including deputising for management in various working groups and forums, supporting architectural discussions and contributing to large scale product designs. 

  • Collaborative relationships with your team's partners to ensure accurate and effective execution of requirements, adhering to coding standards when working within the decision system software. Maintaining release documentation to a high standard, you'll ensure governance procedures are followed. 

What you’ll bring 

We need knowledge, experience + expertise in:  

  • Using Credit Risk Decision Systems tools, for example Provenir, PowerCurve/Strategy Design Studio, Strategy Manager, Blaze Advisor or TRIAD. 

  • Credit Risk or Financial Services experience or an understanding of the retail credit industry and it's products. 

  • Technical delivery cycles with a developer mindset. 

  • Evidence of initiative and enjoyment of adjusting to changing priorities.
