About the role
We are looking for a Lawyer/Associate to join our Superannuation & Insurance Litigation Team on a full-time or part-time, permanent basis. You have the choice of being based in our Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane office. This role will suit candidates looking to make their mark within the Firm whilst helping everyday Australians.
Our Superannuation and Insurance department assists individuals who have ceased work due to an illness or injury, to make a claim as part of the insurance cover attached to their superannuation. This provides individuals and their families with a level of security when they are no longer able to work. The type of claims range from Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) Claims, Income Protection and Life Insurance Claims.
The experience we are looking for
- Graduate to 2+ years post admission experience
- Previous superannuation and insurance is preferred
- Keen interest to specialise in this area of law
- Experience in business development preferable
- Strong legal, commercial, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong client and relationship building skills
- Strong client service focus and a passion for helping people
- Excellent organisation skills and an ability to multi-task
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to provide leadership and guidance to the wider team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
