About the opportunity:

As the Education Manager, you'll collaborate with the Faculty Manager and Associate Dean (Education) to enhance teaching and learning across the Faculty. Your day-to-day work will involve developing and implementing policies, processes, procedures, and communication programs to achieve outstanding educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes for coursework and higher degree by research programs
  • Provide high-level advice and support for unit and course approval and reaccreditation, and quality assurance and compliance processes
  • Initiate and participate in business process improvements
  • Oversee the Faculty's Student Support team in managing complex student, curriculum, and teaching issues
  • Manage the work of the Academic Program & Academic Quality team to ensure smooth teaching and learning operations
  • Manage teaching and education projects within the Faculty, including planning, scheduling, reporting and quality assurance

 Requirements:

  • Ability to manage multiple teams’ priorities and work collaboratively
  • Strong understanding of teaching and learning policies and procedures
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and proficiency in troubleshooting
  • Experience in governance within education, academic administration or a related field
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, with a student-first mindset
