About the opportunity:
We’re seeking an enthusiastic Analyst to join our team and play a key role in financial data analysis that supports student load forecasting, unit costing, and strategic planning across the University.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to financial modelling for current operations, new initiatives, and long-term planning—while working collaboratively with faculties and business units.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead data collection, analysis, and modelling for annual unit costing updates
Support student load planning, including enrolment and revenue forecasting
Extract and manipulate data using tools such as Business Objects, Web Intelligence, Excel, OLAP cubes, and dashboards
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights using effective visualisation and presentation techniques
Present key findings to faculty executive teams and stakeholders
Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support strategic decision-making
Provide administrative and analytical support to faculties and business units
Collaborate with the Finance & Analytics team to identify and implement process improvements
Build strong professional relationships across the University to support team goals
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
A qualification in finance, statistics, or a related field
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Query & SQL, and data tools
Ability to manage and interpret large datasets
A fast-learning mindset and adaptability
Confidence working under pressure and meeting deadlines
