We are looking for our next Product & Marketing Manager to join our team in our Corporate office in Homebush West, reporting directly to the General Manager - Bedding & Manchester.
Why This Role Matters
As a Product & Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the Bedding & Manchester product range that is recommended to Harvey Norman Franchisees nationwide. Your contributions in this role will help influence the performance of the brand, and the brands reputation for quality and value.
What You'll Be Doing
- Curate Excellence: Review and identify high quality and value bedding and manchester products in collaboration with the General Manager
- Build Partnerships: Develop and maintain great relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and Franchisees
- Drive Strategy: Plan and make recommendations on advertising strategies across multiple media channels
- Lead Engagement: Socialise recommended promotions and strategies to Franchisees, manage regular committees, and support annual conferences.
- Deliver Insights: provide weekly business updates and reporting as required
- Enhance Experience: Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team, and provide recommendations to Franchisees to elevate in-store presentation and visual merchandising standards.
What You Bring
- Previous experience as a buyer, preferably in a retail or similar environment.
- A keen interest in bedding and manchester products, with up to date knowledge on emerging sleep trends in comfort and design
- Great Microsoft Office skills - Excel, Outlook & Word in particular.
- Excellent communication, with the ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of consumer trends and buying behaviours.
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, with the ability to prioritise and control your own workload
- A professional, proactive, and collaborative mindset.
