About the role  

Reporting to the Corporate Compliance Officer and based onsite at the Homebush West corporate office, you will collaborate with the General Manager Retail Compliance to manage the Corporate Compliance departments functions.

You will;

  • Maintain the Compliance Reviews to ensure all reportable risks are included and updated as required.
  • Provide input to Compliance training materials to ensure they are current and reflect changes in legislation and Franchisor policies, and recommend improvements to systems, reporting, and training materials.
  • Train newly appointed ACRO team members.
  • Analyse results, recommend actions, and present quarterly Compliance Action Plan reports to Divisional Retail GMs.
  • Monitor legislative changes affecting business and franchisee operations, summarise obligations, and propose implementation plans to address the changes.
  • Monitor and evaluate franchisee performance by reviewing customer complaints and applying relevant legislation to identify key risks.  
  • Generate reports, analyse information and provide the ARCO team feedback, insights and actions from the Compliance Reporting systems, including Power BI.
  • Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments for business projects and provide input on data and privacy security requirements for business cases and reviews.
  • Understand the sustainability policy of Holdings and its global application and represent the Corporate Compliance Officer in sustainability meetings and events.
  • Assist the GM with the Customer Experience Program when required.

About you  

You will bring experience in audit or compliance roles focused on trade practices, WHS, or Privacy, with a proven track record of enhancing practices through data analysis and recommending improvements to policies, procedures, systems, or training.

You will also have;

  • An understanding of risk management and risk treatment plans.
  • Ability to prepare and present training in a group or corporate environment.
  •  A problem solving mindset with the ability to find effective solutions to challenges.
  • Great teamwork abilities with a strong emphasis on building rapport.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Exhibited integrity and sound ethical judgement.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and good analytical thinking.
