About the role
As a member of the Harvey Norman Integrated Planning Team and based onsite at the Homebush West Corporate Office, you will manage stock allocations and replenishments to franchise stores while supporting the planning function. Collaborating closely with the Merchandise Planner, you will analyse sales trends, monitor deliveries, and maintain optimal stock levels.
You will also;
- Provide comprehensive reports and insights to relevant stakeholders.
- Follow up on aged orders with suppliers and process purchase order cancellations.
- Document and acknowledge enquiries, maintaining necessary registers and records.
- Foster strong relationships and effective communication with business stakeholders and team members.
- Execute administrative tasks required to support the function and the team.
About you
You are detail-oriented and curious by nature, with a strong analytical mindset and a drive to grow your career in Merchandise Planning. You enjoy working with data to uncover patterns and insights, and you’re confident navigating digital tools to support smarter decision-making. You’re also a clear communicator who builds strong relationships across all levels of the business.
You will also have;
- Confidence working with spreadsheets and a knack for uncovering data-driven insights, effortlessly utilising functions like XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables, and some experience in Power Query a bonus.
- A collaborative approach, with a focus on building trust and rapport across teams.
- The ability to translate ideas into clear, actionable language—whether technical or practical.
- A self-starter mindset, with strong prioritisation skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Excellent organisational habits and time management, helping you stay ahead in fast-paced environments.
